Updates from the Road: Travel Medicine Video

We are finally back from Egypt and settling in at the “home base” in Greece.  Egypt was more amazing that I expected!  We had some great experiences, wonderful food and met some very nice people.  Fortunately, no major medical problems occurred and the only big issue was an animal bite that led to some rabies post-exposure prophylaxis.

The video we shot should be awesome!  Where is a better place in the world to discuss dehydration and heat illness than the Giza plateau in August!?  Fortunately, we were able to discuss some other topics and should have a few other episodes that can be included from this trip.  Lots of editing to do once we get back to home in Arizona.

We still have more time in Greece before the end of this leg…we are already starting to catalog the video and pictures we have shot…it is a lot!  A few sections are being reshot but overall, I am quite pleased with the effort, thus far.

On a personal note, I have been totally enjoying the hiking and running paths in the mountains around the area of Sunio and Lavrio, Greece.  A lot of steep hills are making my legs and lugs burn…but get stronger at the same time!
