Hi looking for a bit of advice and wondering if someone could help? for the last few years i have been serving with the armed forces as a logistics coordinator for a helicopter squadron. This job that has seen me arrange and participate in the deployment of equipment and supplys to many remote corners of the globe. i would very much like to work in the expedition enviroment and was wondering if there are roles in this field i would be suited to. i also have limited first aid skills and knowledge of helicopter operations (casevac underslung loads etc etc) many thanks Alex

Erik- hope alls well with you - and well done on a great blog. We are getting a steady flow of really interesting medical jobs come into Expedition Medicine. The best ones make it onto the front page http://www.expeditionmedicine.co.uk/ but all of them go on to this page http://www.expeditionmedicine.co.uk/jobs.php.

However, the most upto date way, as the jobs tend to get filled quite quickly, is to sign up for the newsletter which comes out monthly which you can do here http://visitor.constantcontact.com/email.jsp?m=1101649869917&customerid=46864&p=oi&email_address=undefined

hope this helps Erik and look forward to speaking to again soon
